Authors experienced a case of cervical cerclage form the advanced cervical dilatation combined with ballooned membranes 3~4 cm at gestation 20 weeks and 6 days. After removal of amniotic fluid via transabdominal amniocentesis preoperatively
patient
we
underwent a cerclage.
It helped prolongation of gestational age up to 10 weeks more and gave a viable 1620 gm birth.
